MobileVoIP app help
Lost passwords, old accounts, credit that did not arrive, calls that do not connect: the questions we are asked most, with plain answers.
First, who we are
MobileVoIP.net sells calling credit for the MobileVoIP app. The app itself is made by its developer (Dellmont / Finarea), and it works with many brands. An account created with another brand (VoipStunt, VoipBuster, 12Voip, Rynga, VoipZoom, Nonoh, Jumblo and others) is not ours: we cannot see it, reset its password or move its credit.
What we can do: give you a new account that works in the same app in two minutes, with credit from €5 and clear prices per minute.
Old MobileVoIP accounts (other brands)
I forgot the password of my old MobileVoIP account. Can you reset it?
Only if the account was created on MobileVoIP.net. Every account belongs to the brand (provider) chosen when it was registered, and that name is shown on the app's login screen. Reset the password on that brand's own website with the "Forgot password" link, using the e-mail address you registered with. Accounts of other brands (VoipStunt, VoipBuster, 12Voip, Rynga, VoipZoom, Nonoh and the rest) are not with us: we cannot see them, reset them or move their credit.
The reset page says my e-mail or username is unknown, or my old e-mail no longer exists.
Then the old account cannot be recovered by us, and usually not by anyone: without the registered e-mail the brand has no way to prove the account is yours. The quickest way to call again is a new account on MobileVoIP.net: it is free, takes two minutes, and works in the same MobileVoIP app on Android, iPhone and Windows.
My old account is disabled, suspended or "does not exist" any more.
Brands close accounts after a long time without use, or for security reasons, and only that brand can reopen them. We cannot reactivate an account of another brand. Create a new account here and buy credit from €5; it works at once.
I paid by bank transfer or card to another brand and the credit never came.
That payment went to the other brand, not to us, so only its support can find it. If you paid on MobileVoIP.net, see the answers under "Buying credit".
Using the MobileVoIP app with a MobileVoIP.net account
How do I log in to the app?
Open the MobileVoIP app, choose Log in, and enter your MobileVoIP.net VoIP username (it always ends with *1) and the VoIP password shown under My VoIP accounts on this website. The same login works on as many phones and computers as you like.
Can I use my account on two phones, or on my computer?
Yes. Log in with the same username and password on every device: Android, iPhone and Windows. The credit is shared.
How do I set my Caller ID?
In the app open Settings, choose Caller ID and enter your mobile number; it is verified with a code by SMS or a short call. Many destinations accept calls only from a verified Caller ID, so do this once. Several numbers can be verified; you can also do it at voipinfocenter.com → How to call → SIP → Settings → "Caller ID for SIP".
The app says "Call ended (587)" or calls do not connect.
Code 587 means the call was refused: the account is blocked, has no credit, the Caller ID is not verified, or, in EU countries, you call a country with a Caller ID of that same country ("national" calls are increasingly refused there: use a Caller ID of another country, or none). Check your credit under My VoIP accounts, verify your Caller ID, then try again. If it still fails, send us your username (never your password) and the number dialled through the contact form.
The app says my balance is too low, but I have credit.
Credit bought on MobileVoIP.net goes to the VoIP account you chose at checkout. Make sure the app is logged in with that username (ending with *1) and not with an old account of another brand. Under My VoIP accounts you see the balance of each account.
Buying credit
How do I buy calling credit for the MobileVoIP app?
Create a free account on MobileVoIP.net, open Buy credit, choose an amount from €5 and pay with PayPal (PayPal account or card), Bitcoin, USDT or Skrill. The credit is added to your VoIP account automatically, and you can call right away.
I paid on MobileVoIP.net but the credit is not there yet.
PayPal payments are credited within a minute of PayPal confirming them; Bitcoin and USDT need the network confirmations first, usually 10 to 30 minutes. Log out of the app and in again to refresh the balance. The order and its status are under My account → Orders; if it says Completed and the balance is still wrong, send us the order number through the contact form.
Is there a monthly fee or a contract?
No. You pay only for the minutes you use, at the price per minute shown on the Prices page, with no connection fee and no expiry while the account is in use.
